About the studio
HK Hair Studio is a hair salon at 3 Adkins Corner on Perne Road, Cambridge. Women's cutting, colour and treatments are at the heart of the studio — cuts and blow-dries, balayage and highlights, Olaplex, Brazilian blow-dries and extensions.
At the front of the studio, the barber chairs look after men's cuts, skin fades, beards and hot-towel shaves. Book the stylist or barber you want by name online, call, or walk in when a chair is free.

Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Both. Booked slots are guaranteed and you can choose your stylist or barber. Walk-ins are welcome whenever a chair is free — weekday mornings are the quietest.
How does online booking work?
The online calendar is the same diary the stylists work from, so your booking is confirmed instantly and never double-booked. Your card is not charged at booking; you pay at the salon.
Do I need a patch test before colour?
Yes, if you have not had one with us in the last six months. It is a legal requirement in the UK and takes five minutes: a dab of colour behind the ear, at least 48 hours before the appointment. Book the Patch Test online or pop in.
Can I choose my stylist or barber?
Yes. You can choose any team member by name when you book online, or press "Book with…" on their card on our team page.
How long will my appointment take?
Every service on the menu shows its duration — from a ten-minute fringe trim to two hours for a full head of highlights or a perm. If you are booking colour and a cut, book both so enough time is held.
Do you cut children's hair?
Yes. Girls under 14 are booked on the ladies' side (Children's Cut); boys under 14 on the barbering side (Kids' Haircut or Kids' Skin Fade). A parent or guardian stays with the child.
Where exactly are you?
3 Adkins Corner on Perne Road, Cambridge CB1 3RU — the parade of shops near the Perne Road / Mill Road end, about ten minutes from the city centre. There is on-street parking nearby and buses stop on Perne Road.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Saturday 9:00–19:00 and Sunday 10:00–17:00. Bank holidays vary — call us to check.
How do I pay?
Cash, debit card or credit card at the studio. Booking online holds your slot without taking payment.
