How to make a blow-dry last three days
A salon blow-dry can last the weekend if you treat it right. Dry shampoo, a silk pillowcase and no touching.

Day one is the salon. Keep your hands out of it — the oil from your fingers flattens the roots faster than anything else — and tie it up loosely at night with a silk or satin scrunchie, or sleep on a satin pillowcase.
Day two: a little dry shampoo at the roots before you go to bed, not in the morning, so it works overnight. Brush it through in the morning with a paddle brush and the volume mostly comes back.
Day three: a quick refresh of the ends with a round brush and a hairdryer on low, or a few loose waves with a wand if it has gone flat. If you are booking a blow-dry for an event, book it the day before rather than on the day; it settles overnight and holds better.
